 【李寧怡／綜合外電報導】沙烏地阿拉伯是全球唯一不讓女性開車的國家，當地女性爭取駕駛權多年。昨天在首都利雅德，又有逾60名女性刻意違法開車上街，所幸無人被捕。

發起這項運動的團體，呼籲女性自行開車上街，再將開車的影像寄給他們，結果收到共63則影片和手機簡訊。美聯社訪問到一名32歲的女性經濟學者，她說只是開車到雜貨店再回家，已做好坐牢的準備，丈夫和家人都在家裡焦急等候，所幸沒有警察將她攔下。
 沙烏地阿拉伯以極端保守的角度詮釋伊斯蘭教義，雖無明令禁止女性開車，但不發駕照給女性，甚至規定女性外出必須由家中男性親人陪同。近年沙國已逐漸鬆綁對女性的諸多限制，讓她們可參與地方選舉；1990年沙國首次女性開車示威活動中，有50人被捕，也和昨天無人被捕的情況大不相同。不過該國仍規定女性旅行、結婚、接受高等教育等，須有男性親人同意。

　　接下來這起意外，是號誌燈故障害死人。嘉義市昨天上午十點，在鬧區交通量最大的垂楊路跟吳鳳南路口，所有號誌燈，都因為台電施工故障。一對騎機車的老夫婦，因此被一輛轎車撞上，送醫後一死一重傷，民眾緊急通知台電，但台電的回應卻是「假日沒人上班，也連絡不到主管」為理由，拖了兩個多小時，才派出工程車維修。

　　號誌殺人，嘉義市昨天上午十點，在鬧區交通量最大的垂楊路跟吳鳳南路口，所有號誌燈都因為台電施工故障。一對騎機車的老夫婦，因此被一輛轎車撞上，送醫後一死一重傷，民眾緊急通知台電，居然得到「假日都沒人上班，也連絡不到主管」的理由，直到兩個多小時候，才派出工程車維修。

　　兩輛救護車輪流先送來一個老先生，再送來一個老婦人，他們兩人是夫妻，因為出了車禍送醫，最後老婦人不幸死亡，老先生也因為嚴重腦震盪，送進加護病房急救。兒子氣憤的說，這場意外都是因為台電惹禍，要不是路口號誌燈壞了，媽媽不會無辜喪命。

　　回到意外現場，原來一天前，老夫婦騎車到這個鬧區街口，當時路口號誌燈因為台電維修全都壞，路口前的監視器就拍下車流已經一路堵車，結果一輛轎車閃避不及，撞上了老夫婦的機車，最離譜的是，當時有民眾緊急打給台電，要求盡快派人維修，對方居然回答，假日都沒人，要等等。

　　台電認為，號誌燈故障跟車禍有沒有直接關係，還要再調查，不過對於維修速度過慢，表示會加強效率訓練，但對家屬來說，他們失去的是最重要的親人，除了肇事轎車要負責，台電的號誌燈也難推責。
