台南市長賴清德、勞委會主委潘世偉、勞委會職訓局長林三貴等，於新化區公所宣布啟動提供受災戶臨時工僱用計畫。

台南市政府啟動受災戶臨時工僱用計畫，並進行康芮颱風災後重建工作。30日，台南市長賴清德與勞委會主委潘世偉，共同宣布立即啟動康芮颱風受災戶臨時工就業計畫，提供康芮颱風受災戶從事臨時工作、災後家園重建。
台南市長賴清德、勞委會主委潘世偉、勞委會職訓局長林三貴、勞工局長王鑫基、新化區長姚溪海等，於新化區公所宣布啟動提供受災戶臨時工僱用計畫，使失業的受災戶可以獲得安頓、也能儘快回復家園。
賴市長表示，感謝勞委會緊急提供此臨時工僱用計畫，使遭受颱風災損的失業民眾，不僅可以參加此就業計畫，市府也將以最速件來處理，接受相關民眾申請。
職訓局長林三貴表示，只要符合台南受災戶、且是失業狀態，可向市府勞工局提出申請，參與受災戶臨時工僱用計畫，工作內容包括臨時工、家園重建等工作，工作以時薪計算。
勞工局表示，此計畫由勞委會提供經費預算，並由該局規劃，提出專案工作需求，只要受災戶提出失業、受災戶證明，市府將以最快速度提供臨時工作機會，民眾可先就近向雲嘉南就服中心的新營、台南、永康就服中心提出需求。
