【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】隨著萬聖節即將來到，美國不少戶人家也開始忙著布置迎接萬聖節，佛州一名現年50歲男子朗尼爾森，15日在住家外架起大型十字架，並在周遭擺上蠟燭，接著灑上汽油，點燃十字架和蠟燭的時候，衣服不小心著火，導致他全身50%二度燒傷。

警方表示男子當時喝了不少酒，研判應該只是單純意外，目前仍在醫院接受治療。

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】美國丹佛班奈特一農場主人，數年前在鄰近野地發現一頭後腿嚴重受傷的野生美洲駝，請來獸醫幫牠治療時，獸醫表示如果未及時治療，這頭美洲駝根本無法在野地生存，隨即開刀修復斷裂的腿，但手術失敗，獸醫建議可能得讓牠安樂死。
 
不過農場主人不忍心，決定幫牠截肢，並募款為牠裝上義肢，最後還決定收養牠，幫牠取名為崔帕德，經過6年來的照顧和復健，期間換過不少義肢，今年7月專家為崔帕德量身打造適合牠的義肢，經過3個多月的復健，現在已經能自由行動

異人館新「市府店」花了千萬元裝潢於5日新開張後，在沒有行銷下，上門的客人接踵而至，「感到滿意」林岡立表示，旗下有25家異人館門市，每隔一段時間就整店重新裝潢，把新的元素如活水般不斷的注入到裝潢的門市。

林岡立表示，雖然不景氣，餐飲界除了用美食，還可以用氛圍為顧客做場美食的療癒。顧客一走進新市府店，從燈光、空間，到桌椅的觸感，都有很舒服的感受，在異人館一頓飯吃下來，就好像整個心情豁然開朗了。

他強調，現在餐飲不只用美食餵飽顧客的胃，而是從整個全盤設計中，不著痕跡的去經營每個細節。在這樣用餐環境中，可以看到不少顧客輕鬆的開心聊天、享受美食，就代表這個空間設計成功了。

所以走到門市，可以很直接看到品牌經營者想要傳達理念，從用挑高屋頂投射下來舒服光源、用地板燈光打出玻璃隔間牆、刷白原始磚牆，顧客一坐下來，每個座位獨享的溫馴燈光灑下，手觸碰桌面原木的原始觸感，心就豁然開朗了。

異人館總經理已經手10多家門市的改裝或新門市整體空間規劃，林岡立表示，自己在門市裡，每天看著顧客用餐、員工在空間移動，慢慢在腦子中形成一個清楚的設計圖，其中包含著外面設計師一時間講不清楚的許多細節，唯有自己拿起筆畫著每張圖，把想法變成一個餐桌或一面牆。這將成了異人館很獨特的傳統。

異人館第26家的成大分店將於本月25日開幕，第27家分店落在埔里鎮，預計12月下旬營業，林岡立盼明年下半年能在大台北地區展店，但還未考慮去中國大陸發展。不景氣中的業績從去年第4季起至今年第一季營收不佳，但第2、3季比去年同期好。

異人館嘗試在台南虎尾寮開社區型小店，親切融入當地人生活中，已與居民打成一片；為此異人館每家分店根據當地住民特性（包括年齡層、消費族群）推出不同的「主廚推薦餐」吸引在地人上門。◇
