我買了一具勝輝(SW)的3/4"排氣閥, 見此圖:

但是, 安裝之後, 卻有個問題.

我是請水電工將這具排氣閥安裝在我家的加壓機進水管上. 以便進水管蓄積空氣時, 可將其排出, 避免加壓機抽到空氣而持續空轉. 請見此圖:

(加壓機是當作抽水機使用, 將自來水抽到屋頂水塔)
(排氣閥旁邊有一個無水斷電器)

排氣閥安裝完成之後, 我加以測試, 發現這具排氣閥無法"自動"排氣, 必須用手將排氣閥頂端那顆類似按鈕的東西, 向下按壓約四五十下, 才能將水管中的積氣排淨.

請問, 這是正常現象嗎?

我的測試過程如下:

首先說明, 我家的加壓機本身在進水口就有一個逆止閥, 因此, 出水管內的水會積存在管中, 不會倒流入進水管中.

(1) 加壓機進水管底部有一個水龍頭, 上圖中看不見. 我把它轉開, 放出進水管內的水.

(2) 趁水龍頭正在放水時, 關閉自來水總開關. 然後進水管內的水就全部流掉.
    空氣代替水進入管中. (從自來水總管只有接出這台加壓機的進水管, 別無支管)

(3) 轉緊水龍頭.

(4) 打開自來水總開關, 讓自來水向上衝入進水管中, 將空氣封在管中.

(5) 此時, SW 排氣閥毫無動靜. 等待五分鐘, 我用手去按壓排氣閥頂端那顆類似
    按鈕的東西, 剛開始按的五,六下, 每按一下, 都可以清楚聽到一聲"噗",
    想必是排氣的聲音. 隨著按壓的次數增多, 那個"噗"聲越來越微弱, 按到
    第八,九下, 就有水從那顆按鈕湧出. 直到按到四五十下, 才完全沒聽到"噗"聲.
    想必已將空氣排光.

(6) 再度按照以上的步驟, 測試兩次, 結果都相同.

請問, 這是正常現象嗎? 如不正常, 自己可以修理嗎?
