立法院長王金平黨籍假處分案，國民黨提出抗告遭法院駁回。台中市長胡志強30日晚間坦言，駁回並不在他意料之外，儘管台中受馬王政爭影響較小，但他還是希望風暴能早日過去，讓國家儘快恢復穩定。
胡志強與總統馬英九，晚間一同參加世界台灣商會聯合總會第19屆年會暨第3次理監事聯席會議。他表示，台北可能置身風暴內，自己很慶幸在台中，台中可能在暴風圈外，儘管如此「我希望風暴早日過去，大家保持安定。」
對國民黨抗告遭駁回，胡志強坦言「駁回不在我意料之外！」任何事情如果讓風暴延續，都不是國家社會之福，期盼高層有智慧，讓國家盡快恢復安定。
至於有聲音傳出希望提出倒閣，訴諸民意來解套目前的困境，胡志強不願多做評論，只再次說「風暴再延續並非好事，希望風暴盡快過去。」
