【綜合報導】美國紐約最熱到的時代廣場(Time Square)，當地時間周六(14日)晚間，2名執勤警員因為追捕一名疑似精神失常擾亂交通男子，當街對他開槍，卻誤擊傷2名女性路人，其中一人傷勢較為嚴重，已送醫急救，另一人只是擦傷，並無大礙。

由於是周末夜晚，時代廣場人聲鼎沸，突然槍響後街頭一片混亂，尖叫聲四起。該名男子事後遭警方逮捕，目前已被扣留。
