中華航空今天開闢桃園往返釜山航線，共提供8席商務艙及150席經濟艙，每週6班，從台灣出發僅2.5小時就抵韓國第二大城。

華航開闢桃園往返釜山航線後，每週飛航韓國將達27班，包含桃園往返仁川11班、高雄往返仁川7班、松山往返金浦3班、桃園往返釜山6班；另外也與大韓航空共用班號提供桃園往返仁川14班的服務，是台灣往返韓國最方便的空中交通。

華航說，釜山航線搭配現有的首爾仁川、金浦及日本福岡等航點，華航提供更多元的韓國旅遊產品，例如釜山加首爾的「雙點進出」方案，旅客可選擇韓國不同航點進出的玩法，無須走回頭路，大大減少交通時間；或釜山進、福岡出的「日韓雙拼」方案，旅客可從釜山搭乘大型遊輪，約3小時即可到達隔海相望的福岡，繼續展開九州之旅，再搭配福岡航班回台。

華航指出，釜山位於韓國南端，以優美的沙岸美景及豐富的海味美饌聞名，同時也是韓國工商業第一大海港城，是首都首爾外的第二大人口、交通及經濟之地。

美國職棒大聯盟（MLB）印地安人隊宣布將陸續拉小聯盟球員上大聯盟，效力於印地安人隊的李振昌預計在台灣時間4日被放進大聯盟名單。

李振昌今年7月中曾短暫上到大聯盟出賽3場，都是後援出賽，共投2局，投出1次三振、3次保送，沒丟掉分數，自責分率0。

印地安人隊總教練法蘭科納（Terry Francona）今天說，李振昌是球隊明年重要牛棚戰力，若能利用這次擴編機會先上大聯盟，並盡可能多投幾場，相信能幫李振昌為明年球季做好準備。

（軍聞社記者陳映竹臺北一日電）每年的九月一日是記者節，主要是紀念中華民國政府於民國廿二年發布「保護新聞工作人員及維護輿論機關」命令，提醒社會大眾重視新聞自由是捍衛民主社會的基石。

　記者最主要的工作，就是代替廣大的民眾前往新聞事件發生現場，或是接觸當事人，並將真相及其代表的意義，透過忠實報導呈現於大眾媒體，協助媒體達成守望、教育、討論、娛樂等功能，而因記者擁有閱聽人賦予的權力，所以被冠以「無冕王」的雅稱。

　我國記者節由來，已故知名報人─成舍我先生曾在他的撰文中談到，民國廿二年八月，有鑑於當時國內各地仍時有封禁報館、囚殺報人事件發生，乃呈請中央執行委員會轉請國府，通令全國尊重言論，保障人權，對新聞從業人員的身體安全，不許非法侵犯，當時政府依此意旨，於九月一日發布命令，讓全國新聞界大感興奮；翌年八月，杭州市記者公會，即向全國新聞界建議，政府遂而明訂並發布九月一日為「記者節」。

　媒體肩負監督政府、提供民眾知的權利，並進一步關懷弱勢、實現社會正義的責任，在民主自由國家裡，同時具備獨立監督政府、防止行政機關濫權的功能，代表民主社會的重要指標，民眾可以從國會議員的積極問政與新聞記者的深入報導，瞭解政府施政成效，政府也可藉此掌握相關政策的民意反應，作為改正與革新的參考，尤其對國軍而言，國防施政的良窳與整體戰力息息相關，民意的支持更是激勵國軍進步的動力，在國軍不斷創新求變、致力國防轉型的過程，扮演監督與指正的角色。

　在「九一」記者節前夕，國防部長嚴明親自主持「一○二年記者節聯誼餐會」，向年來監督國防施政、扮演國防部諍友的軍事記者表達感謝，而在今年，因有媒體記者的監督與鼓勵，「國防六法」順利三讀施行、《一○二年四年期國防總檢討》公布、「漢光二十九號演習」等各項國防事務，均能依計畫期程推展，也透過媒體對於營區開放、模範團體參訪等活動的報導，讓國人看到國軍部隊勤訓精練的實況，以及國軍官兵堅守崗位，保衛國家安全的無私付出。

　媒體記者的支持是國軍前進的動力，國防戰力的堅實與官兵保國衛民的情操亦須透過媒體傳播，讓國人瞭解國軍的角色扮演與肩承的職責，同時也是對國軍官兵最實質的精神鼓舞。
