雖然ICE美元指數延續反彈，重新站上81.5的水位，打壓黃金漲勢，使得金價本周維持在1,350-1,400美元間的窄幅震盪格局，而FOMC的7月會議記錄來看，雖然大部分委員都同意改變每月850億美元的債券購買尚未到時機，但有一些委員認為放緩時機不宜太晚，加上即將進入風險事件多的9月，恐增大金價波動程度，因此投資人需密切追蹤市場情緒變化。

由於金價大跌，影響東南亞最大的黃金消費國—印尼也加入了印度和中國購買黃金的行列，根據印尼金匠和珠寶商協會秘書長IskandarHusin表示，2013年印尼黃金項鏈、手鐲和戒指的消費將上漲至40公噸，而世界黃金協會(WGC)的數據顯示出，這將比2012年的30.8噸上漲30%，也是自2009年以來的最高水平，反應出亞洲需求依然是金價的主要支撐。不過9年前推出的SPDR黃金基金持倉卻大幅減少，由於SPDR是跟蹤金價走勢的一個衍生品，當它面臨大規模贖回時，會對黃金市場形成巨大拋售壓力，對金價形成巨大的打壓力道，因此在SPDR尚未回穩之前，金價要有強烈的漲勢可能較為困難。

美國經濟方面，雖然上周初請失業金人數上升1.3萬至33.6萬，小幅高於市場預期的33萬，但四周平均值卻下降0.225萬至33.05萬，創2007年11月以來新低，意味著美國就業市場明顯改善，加上因為企業減少裁員、股市上漲和銀行放貸回暖等因素，使得7月份領先指標月率上升0.6%，為3個月內最高水平，且Home Depot Inc.和Lowe's Cos等零售商的家電和其它家用商品銷售也呈現增加，表明消費者支出開始擴張。綜合各經濟數據，暗示著美國經濟復甦趨勢強勁，提高了QE退場的預期，在9月中的FOMC會議前可能令金價承壓。

基本面觀之，黃金似乎傾向走跌，不過由技術面觀察，金價目前已反彈至1,350美元之上，短期均線多頭排列，似乎仍有進一步上漲空間，不過KD隨機指標與MACD有反轉向下的跡象，不排除有回落的風險，因此較有冒險精神的投資人在短線上或許可以偏多思考，但仍需嚴守風險控管為宜。
