孟買輪暴案 第二名嫌犯落網

印度孟買警方今天(24日)逮捕第二名涉嫌輪暴1名女攝影記者的男子。

孟買警方發言人喬達里(Satyanarayan Choudhary)告訴法新社，警方已經在23日逮捕了這起輪暴案的1名嫌犯，並且連夜逮捕了第二名涉案男子。

不過，喬達里沒有提供更多說明。

孟買一家時尚生活雜誌的22歲女實習攝影記者，22日晚間在孟買中央區1處廢棄麵粉廠與同行男同事執行拍攝任務時，遭到5名歹徒中的3人輪暴，這起事件再度引發各界對印度婦女遭遇的憤慨。

在印度，孟買對女性而言是相對較為安全的城市，女記者慘遭輪暴一事震驚各界，也引發社群媒體網站的憤怒與印度國會的怒吼，記者也在孟買發起示威抗議。

孟買鏡報(Mumbai Mirror)今天的頭版社論指出，這起最新攻擊事件證實孟買的安全紀錄正迅速衰退、道德核心腐蝕。

孟買當地報紙「正午(Mid Day)」在以「需要真正變革(Real change needed)」為標題的報導中表示，當前挑戰是「建立一個視女性為平等公民的社會」。

慘遭輪暴的女記者正在醫院接受治療，情況穩定。

這起輪暴案勾起了人們對去年12月1名23歲女大學生遭輪暴案的記憶。這名女學生在新德里慘遭5名男子性侵，最後傷重不治。該案震驚了國際社會，並引發全印度的抗議浪潮，同時呼籲印度政府採行更嚴格的反性侵法。
