【蘇聖怡／台北報導】監察院長王建煊一席「監院關門比較好」言論餘波盪漾。台聯立院黨團總召許忠信上午舉行記者會表示，台聯一向主張三權分立，因此下會期將提案修憲，廢除監察院，將審計權、調查權、彈劾權歸立院；與政風相關的財產申報移轉至廉政署。此外，民進黨立委李俊俋也提出《憲法》增修條文修正草案，廢除監察院，此草案目前已進行連署中。

民進黨立委陳其邁也指出，6年來監察院預算將近45億元，但總計彈劾案僅200件、239人，七成以上是調查報告，監察院不只不打老虎只拍蒼蠅，還輕拍怕打死。陳其邁說，818拆政府應拆了成效不彰的監察院，由國會來行使調查權。陳其邁說，王建煊上任以來爭議言行不斷，19名監委連署譴責，他呼籲，監委應該彈劾王建煊，19票一定可以讓彈劾案通過。

對於在野黨立委將提案修憲，立法院長王金平受訪表示，每個人都有權利，都應尊重，能不能成案再說。
