日本大部分的學校是不是都有游泳池?

我從小學到大學，學校都沒有游泳池，固然也沒有游泳課。

可是我看日劇、動漫的時候發現常常會出現游泳課的情節。

我想請教對日本文化非常熟悉，最好是懂日本文化，或是住在日本的人告訴我是否是如此呢?

題外話，好像是因為台灣學校游泳池少，台灣會游泳的人也沒那麼多。
