酒駕車禍死 保險公司理賠六百萬元

新北市許姓男子4年前酒後騎車與小客車擦撞，受傷送醫，診治後未留院觀察，堅持離院並赴警局製作筆錄，未料在過程中身體不適再度送診，發現肝臟破裂、腹部出血，兩天後不治。許妻以許男生前投保的600萬元意外險，向保險公司要求理賠；不過保險公司表示，許男因酒駕肇事後，在醫院包紮時只有外傷，可見不是車禍意外致死，認為死因是他長期酗酒造成的肝硬化導致肝臟破裂，拒絕賠償。台灣高等法院審理認為，許男雖然有肝硬化，但若非車禍，也不會造成提早死亡，保險公司不能因此免除責任，判賠600萬元。全案可再上訴。
