第一次交換IPHONE，請問有什麼需要注意的嗎?

剛好徵到有人想用太空灰換銀的16G 5S
(兩個皆為全新未拆封)

請問一下交換機子的時候，驗機需要做什麼動作嗎?
(怕拿到高仿山寨機- -但應該不太會吧..)
因為之前都拿安卓的機子，
爬文有爬到說IPHONE輸入*3001#12345#*
可以進入工程模式，想問一下進入工程模式要如何確認機子是否為正品
以及總通話時間是否可查看呢
