旅美投手王建民4日返台，他清楚地說出自己的生涯規劃，建仔表示仍希望可以在美國拚2年。

王建民說明年球季還是會以美國為主，希望可以有機會以先發投手身分重回大聯盟，建仔強調即使是小聯盟合約，他都能接受，建仔要的是回大聯盟的機會，他想給自己2年的時間。建仔也證實，今年球季期間，日本職棒軟銀一直都與他保持聯絡，但他從未心動。

王建民4日帶著妻小一同返台，在返台記者會上，建仔與大家分享了從經典賽（WBC）開始，之後效力洋基、藍鳥期間的心情，也為明年球季的生涯規劃作了說明。
