「投奔怒海」、「阮玲玉」等電影知名編劇邱剛健於27日上午因心臟病病逝北京，享年74歲。獲悉邱剛健過世，「阮玲玉」導演關錦鵬及圈內人士均在微博致哀，關錦鵬在接受香港媒體訪問時也直說，好突然。

邱剛健於1940年6月24日出生於福建廈門鼓浪嶼，曾3度獲香港金像獎最佳編劇，並以「三個女人的故事」獲金馬獎最佳劇本。友人表示，邱剛健今年5月就因心血管疾病住院，但他不願驚動朋友，之後他又中風住進加護病房10天，出院仍很虛弱。一星期前，他的病情急轉直下，女友趙向陽始終在旁照顧。前天邱剛健辭世，女友也以妻子的名義悲痛發訃告指出他「在與疾病頑強鬥爭兩個月後，不幸去世」。邱剛健在紐約的兒子也將赴北京處理後事。

劇場出身的邱剛健在1960年代與劉大任、陳耀圻等人創立「劇場」雜誌，並以「邱戴安平」、「耶律楚材」等筆名寫劇本，同時執導過電影「阿嬰」。由於一生奔波於台灣、香港、紐約、大陸等地，筆名「楚材」有「晉用」之意。
