【施旖婕╱綜合外電報導】英國一名12歲少女碧特(Jayde Pitt)患上怪病，每天無時無刻都不停嘔吐。她說從今年9月開始除了不停胃抽筋及腹痛，更經常噁心或嘔吐。曾經有一天內嘔吐了18小時，最誇張每天嘔吐40次。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，碧特勤看醫生，但都診斷不到病因，更有醫生質疑碧特是不是懷孕，讓碧特感到相當憤怒。最後有小兒科醫師診斷出碧特是患上「周期性嘔吐綜合症」，經藥物治療後，3個月內病情慢慢控制，現在碧特的生活也漸漸恢復正常。
