中興大學的食蛇龜臨時收容中心，專門收容國內查獲的非法盜獵的食蛇龜與柴棺龜，12月17日卻發現收容中心的3公尺高鐵網被剪破1個洞，被偷走1000多隻龜，趕緊向警方報案，全案目前仍由警方偵辦中。
