指紋不夠看 三星研發虹膜辨識

（中央社台北26日電）根據產業消息指出，南韓行動裝置大廠三星電子公司一直與延世大學（YonseiUniversity）的生物計量工程研發中心攜手，合力打造「虹膜辨識技術」（iris recongnition technologis）。

根據英文「韓國前峰報」（Korea Herald）報導，三星電子公司（Samsung Electronics Co. ）已被證實在去年5月申請了虹膜辨識專利。

三星申請專利時指稱，「每個人的虹膜紋理都是獨一無二的，基於安全理由，可作為個人身分驗證的方式。」

三星指出，虹膜紋理的獨特性更甚於指紋，而且這項技術無需做人身接觸，將不易招致反感。「即使是戴眼鏡或隱形眼鏡，也可準確辨識身份。」

針對傳言指出即將問世的Galaxy S5將搭載虹膜辨識技術，三星主管指出：「申請專利僅是顯示這項技術的發展潛力，我們不清楚下一款手機是否將搭載這項技術。」至於指紋辨識，三星主管暗示，這項技術作為應用的可能性顯然較低。

延世大學生物計量工程研發中心教授金載熙（KimJae-hee, 音譯）謝絕針對這項計劃置評。

隨著智慧手機的安全性問題愈來愈受到重視，手機大廠們無不爭先恐後的投入生物計量技術研發。

三星Galaxy S4與Galaxy Note 3就強打眼球辨識功能。今年蘋果（Apple ）iPhone 5s、南韓手機廠泛泰集團（Pantech ）的Vega LTE-A與宏達電One基於安全理由，相繼採用了指紋感應器。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）1021126

挽頹勢 黑莓高層大地震

（中央社記者張若霆多倫多25日專電）為挽救日益衰退的業務，黑莓公司（BlackBerry）今天宣布解聘營運總監狄爾（Kristian Tear）及營銷總監布爾本（FrankBoulben）。

兩人都是在2012年中期加入黑莓，參與新黑莓手機上市計畫。結果，新黑莓上市後，銷售並不理想。黑莓公司女發言人費寶佳（Rebecca Freiburger）今天表示，狄爾及布爾本離職後，遺缺不會補人。

此外，財務總監畢杜卡（Brian Bidulka）也將離職，遺缺由葉希（James Yersh）遞補。葉希2008年即加入黑莓。董事會成員之一的馬丁（Roger Martin）今天也辭職。

黑莓目前財務正陷入困境，且正在進行營運重組，希望能縮減公司規模及降低成本。

一度曾為手機業龍頭的黑莓，近年來由於競爭不過蘋果iPhone及Android系統，市場占有率一直在減少。

狄爾及布爾本被賦予振興黑莓的任務，但新黑莓上市後，廣告推廣及銷售，一切都與理想相差甚遠。尤其是狄爾，他等於負責營運及銷售，對新黑莓銷售不佳，應負最大責任。

新黑莓手機今年初上市，之後黑莓財務狀況一路惡化，今年第2季甚至出現9億6500萬美元虧損。新黑莓銷售最失敗的首屬Z10觸控式手機。

為挽救頹勢，黑莓已宣布裁員40%，並在公司高層做出變動。黑莓原本也考慮出售給其他科技或投資公司，但本月初突然又改變初衷，由最大股東加拿大楓信金融控股公司出資10億美元，重整旗鼓，繼續營運。1021125

艾瑪回憶 要求重來惹惱李安

擁有兩座奧斯卡、兩座金球獎、兩座英國影視藝術學院電影獎的影后艾瑪湯普遜（艾瑪），25日受英國影視藝術學院之邀，在倫敦參與回顧過去個人作品座談會。會中，她幽默細數過往工作趣事，席間透露在拍攝李安首部好萊塢電影、1995年的《理性與感性》時，竟曾一度惹惱好修養、本屆金馬獎評審團主席李安！

《好萊塢報導》指出，《理性與感性》初拍並不順利，有場戲拍完後，艾瑪與休葛蘭建議李安可以「換個位置再拍一次」，李安聽到後陷入沈默，當天剩下的拍攝過程也十分窒礙不順。

「我理解到，他一生中從來沒有人會在拍片現場對他提出要求，他過去拍片的地方，演員絕對不會違逆他指示的台詞或動作，更不可能對他提出意見。」艾瑪花一整晚寫了封道歉信給李安導演，巧的是，李安也不約而同寫了封道歉信給她，悄悄由她的門縫推入房中。

經過這段正面磨合之後，李安給演員的導演建議就越來越「殘忍」、也越來越好笑，艾瑪說，她獲得李安的第一個建議是：「不要看起來那麼『臭老』。」而李安寫給凱特溫絲蕾的筆記，開頭就說：「別擔心，妳會進步的。」
