早上去了台北市大佳河濱公園的美利達新車試乘會, 騎了Reacto, 原本只是在規定的區域裡繞圈圈, 不過後來徵得美利達現場人員的同意, 在外圍的車道上跑了兩趟直線加速, 倒是因為車子的尺寸和我身型稍稍不合, 加上行進間的車輛不少, 所以也沒法盡情地加速, 至於和其他公路車相比的不同感覺, 其實一時間也說不上來, 因為我不是專業的車手, 只是耍嘴皮子的玩家而已…。

昨天又是刺激的一站, 結果世界冠軍在終點前衝出去, 卻還是沒能在大賽中開張, 至為可惜；其實只贏他一個輪框的Zdeněk Štybar也不是僥倖, 這位捷克籍的27歲車手, 從2002年開始就在Cyclo-cross展露頭角, 且從2008年開始到今年連續稱霸捷克車壇, 更在2010-2011年連莊世界冠軍。他在2011年正式轉戰公路車賽, 2012年先拿下「敦克爾克四日賽」拿下總成績第二, 外加一個單站冠軍；而今年, 他先在「巴黎－胡貝」古典賽拿下第6, 更在日前結束的Eneco Tour贏得白衫總冠軍。看起來他能拿下這一站不是偶然, 尤其能贏過世界冠軍, 他應該更加高興。

昨天說過了, 雖然Marco Pinotti也有ITT能力, 但他畢竟不是世界冠軍, 早早就被集團收編了
(有人說很殘酷, 但這也是事實啊...)

今天的第八站, 是環西班牙賽最南的一站。雖然名為山地站, 但是除了最後的終點爬坡, 以及60-80公里的小山之外, 其他的路線高度都還好而已。倒是受到路線一開始向東再轉東南, 以及接近海邊的地形影響, 前125公里路程的側風和逆風, 會是一個比賽的因素。

最後的40公里, 有27公里左右是沿著海岸線走, 在經過Estepona 的第二個衝刺點再走4公里左右, 就來到本站的最後重點－終點爬坡了！從海拔20公尺爬上980公尺高的Peñas Blancas, 是個一級坡, 爬坡距離14.5公里, 平均坡度6.6%。從坡度表來看, 一開始的前2公里最陡, 最大坡度還大於12%；而在第3-6公里, 一路又上又下的, 其實這種路最難掌握爬坡節奏；過了這一段爬坡, 大概就是以平均7-8%的坡度往上, 而在這一一段爬坡還有一個助力：就是因為往西北方向走, 所以也有海風在後方的小小助力。

當然, 這一站最後的爬坡, 可能又會讓好久沒變的GC排名出現變化, 以Vincenzo Nibali目前以3秒領先Chris Horner, 後者會急著搶回紅衫嗎？不知道；不過相對來說, 像是後面幾名的Alejandro Valverde(Movistar, GC第5, +21)和Joaquim "Purito" Rodriguez(Katusha, GC第16, +53), 甚至是Bauke Mollema(Belkin, GC第13, +48), 都可能會比較積極, 至少會想把秒差再拉近一些。不過這裡有車評介紹一位Cofidis車隊的Luis Ángel Maté, 他不是什麼知名的車手, 又在最近不是很出色的法國2級車隊中, 但為何要特別提他呢？這一位西班牙本土車手, 在Peñas Blancas這裡騎過不少趟, 對這裡的坡度、地形, 相當了解, 雖然他不太算是爬坡型的車手, 不過這幾年他的爬坡能力被認為有進步, 至少今年的百屆環法的GC前10名之中有Cofidis車隊的Daniel Navarro(GC第9), Maté的功勞不小。而在環法的第20站Annecy的最後終點爬坡站, Maté以單站第27名作收, 成績甚至比Laurens ten Dam (Belkin, 單站第29)、Igor Antón(Euskaltel-Euskadi, 單站第30)和Pierre Rolland(Team Europcar, 單站38)還要好…。
