【吳柏源、王勇超／高雄報導】高市下午驚傳兒子弒母案！鐘姓男子（32歲）今天午2時許兒子回到左營區父母的住處，由於當時下大雨，鐘男撐傘走進家中，把雨傘放在前院窗前，再走進客廳，當時突然一陣大風吹走雨傘，鐘父從客廳走出來撿拾雨傘時，突然聽見屋內客廳傳出「啊！」一聲慘叫，鐘父衝進客廳，看到鐘母背部大量出血、癱坐在沙發上，鐘男坐在餐桌的椅子上，客廳地板上有一把長約30公分的鋼製水果刀。
 
鐘母到院前就沒有呼吸、心跳，急救後仍不治。警方說，鐘母傷口僅背部一處刀傷，「寬度約5公分，但深及肺部，加上出血過多，才會不治！」警方將鐘男帶回派出所後他一直沈默不語，並拒絕在警方查扣的血衣等證物上簽名，直到鍾父告知：「媽媽已經過世了，配合一點！」才願意簽名，但仍拒絕夜間偵訊。
 
家屬對警方表示，鐘母管教兒子十分嚴格，鐘男出社會後就搬出來自己住，「母子感情疏離！」鐘父對警方表示，兒子之前在國外工作，很少聯絡，水果刀是兒子自行帶來，「不知為何要殺他媽媽！」

不過，立場上始終站在敘利亞一方的俄羅斯總統普丁(Vladmir Putin)稍早卻直斥有關指控是「胡說八道」，並要求美國向聯合國調查員及安理會交出相關證據。
