聘技工修公務車？監院挨批浪費公帑

監察委員的待遇，比照機關首長，因此每位監委都配有專屬公務車和駕駛，不過監察院只有29位監委，公務車卻有40輛，「車比人多」的特殊狀況，先前就挨批浪費人力資源，現在又被立委發現，為了「照顧」這些黑頭車，監察院聘僱一位技工負責「車輛維護檢修」，每月月薪3萬多元，但立委質疑，汽車有問題，都會送修理廠「讓專業的來」，認為這樣的人力編列是浪費公帑。

監察院員工忙著停車，趕上班，但另一頭停車場，黑頭車停滿滿，這些全是監察委員的專屬座車，29位監委，一人、一車、一駕駛。

駕駛表現好，院長親自頒獎表揚，不過監察院只有29位監委，專用座車卻有40輛，「車比人多」，3000c.c.的座車，開5年，里程數不到10萬公里就要汰換，先前就挨批浪費公帑。

立委搬出預算書，痛批監察院亂花公帑，質疑汽車保養、修繕，交給汽車修理廠處理就好，何必每月花錢多聘一人？監察院委屈忙解釋，強調監委「上山下海」查案辦案，都靠座車代步，聘僱專人「保養車輛」，全是為了安全第一。
