（軍聞社記者林敬傑高雄九日電）國防部長嚴明今日視導國軍營地規劃運用情形，指示業管單位應依據任務特性，有效提升國軍土地整體資源運用效益，進而使國軍營產業務更為精進。

　嚴部長上午由副部長嚴德發上將、常務次長沈一鳴中將及軍備局長金壽豐中將等人陪同，赴南部地區現地履勘國軍營地使用及管理現況，肯定主管機關管理工作的辛勤付出，指示採取「小營區併大營區」、「三軍共駐一營區」及「營區間交通連結之便利性」原則，落實檢討營地整併，使國有土地發揮最大效益。

　部長強調，因應「精粹案」及「募兵制」實施，國軍各單位應以積極的態度與綿密的督導，妥適檢討營區整體運用，期能活化營地資源，同時滿足國防施政與戰備訓練實需。
