迎接2014，各國均爭相以煙火吸引目光，由於時差的關係，南半球紐西蘭天空塔（Sky Tower）率先施放煙火，是全世界最矚目的倒數活動之一。

紐西蘭地標SKY TOWER，從高度328公尺的天空塔上施放煙火，畫面特別壯觀，由於時差關係，也是全世界最早迎新的地區，配合大型LED燈，在慶祝民眾倒數聲中，搭配絢爛煙火迎接2014。
