澳洲一個動物園中的老虎突然發狂，狂咬「一手帶大」牠的訓練員。訓練員被其他同事搶救出來，立即送醫治療，雖然失血過多，但神智仍清醒。

30歲的飼養員史泰爾斯(Dave Styles)，當地時間周二(26日)與他飼養的老虎表演後，伴隨老虎回到籠中，老虎卻突然發狂咬向他的肩膀與頸部。他的同事見狀，立即衝前救人，有人用棍驅趕老虎，然後一起逃離現場。

史泰爾斯脖子頸部附近的兩處傷口極深，嚴重失血但神智清醒，立即由直升機送往醫院急救，目前仍未脫離險境。該動物園內飼養了3頭孟加拉虎同8隻蘇門答臘虎，園方拒絕透露傷人老虎的「身份」。
