【胡治言／綜合報導】中華職棒兄弟象隊確定已4億元賣出，據了解，買方就是曾經營職棒的中信鯨隊的中信金控。

今日出刊的《蘋果》報導，中信之所以再涉足職棒，關鍵是中信金控大股東、中信慈善基金會董事長辜仲諒。他熱愛運動，熟悉棒球、跆拳道、高爾夫球，小學是棒球投手，長大後還差點走上職業高爾夫之路。親近辜仲諒的友人也說：「辜仲諒在美日都待過，未來將積極促成美日台職棒交流。他也認為『兄弟象』是台灣職棒重要資產，未來隊名可能叫『中信兄弟象』，也可能保留『兄弟象』。」
